AI for manufacturing
Make technical documentation and operational knowledge easier to find, including in environments with restricted connectivity.
Current challenges
- Technical knowledge is spread across manuals, procedures and individual experience
- Employees need time to find the right document and confirm its current version
- Site connectivity or network policy may limit access to external applications
How we help
- Search approved technical documentation and internal knowledge with source references
- Help staff locate the relevant procedure, manual or previous work record
- Deploy a private application designed for the connectivity available at the site
Manufacturing teams rely on knowledge that may be distributed across document systems, shared folders and historical records. We help organize that information into an application employees can query in the language they use at work.
Keep the current document easy to verify
A knowledge application can retrieve relevant passages from manuals, work instructions and approved procedures. We plan how document versions are indexed and refreshed, and make the source available so that employees can confirm they are using the right instruction.
We start with a specific knowledge collection and a set of practical questions from its users. This helps evaluate terminology, document quality and retrieval before expanding to more teams or sites.
Design for the available network
Where external connections are restricted, we can evaluate private model and application deployment. An offline configuration requires the model, search index and relevant application dependencies to be available within the approved environment; that scope is established during planning.
The first project can support information retrieval and administrative preparation. Changes to equipment settings or operational controls require a separately defined integration and approval process.
See private AI model deployment and RAG and enterprise search for the application components. Infrastructure planning covers the capacity needed to run them.
